Meghan Chambliss
Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce

Meghan Chambliss serves as the Business Administration Specialist at the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce. She will mark five years of service at the Chamber in March of 2023.
Growing up in Tuscaloosa, AL she went on to attend the University of Alabama, and graduated from the Culverhouse College of Business with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing in 2016. Shortly afterward, she moved to Huntsville, where she has become involved in numerous activities. Meghan is currently serving as vice president for the Madison County Alumni Chapter for the University of Alabama. She is a graduate of Leadership Huntsville’s Connect Program Class C-23 and is now a volunteer, helping future classes.
Through her work at the Chamber, Meghan manages the Chamber's Board of Directors and Executive Committee events. She is also in charge of Accounts Payable. She enjoys her work with local companies, assisting with planning and managing events such as announcements, ground-breakings and ribbon cuttings. Meghan also runs the Chamber’s fun committee, which is important for employee morale and retention! This includes birthday and holiday event planning, a summer retreat and College Colors Day in the fall, among other activities.
Outside of work, Meghan enjoys meeting up with friends and her small group through Church of the Highlands. Meghan also enjoys shopping and supporting local restaurants and businesses, gardening, and visiting with family. She returns home to Tuscaloosa often.
Buddy Jones
Buddy Jones graduated from the University of Alabama in 1984 with a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering. He has been employed by 3M Corporation in Decatur, AL for the past 38 years most recently in the position of Manufacturing Technology Manager.
An active member of the community, Buddy has served as Finance Chairman of Asbury Church, Hogan YMCA board member, Carnegie Arts Center board member and Hudson Alpha capital campaign committee member. He currently serves as president of the University of Alabama Madison County Alumni Chapter.
Buddy is married to Carole Jones, also a 1984 graduate of UA, and they are the parents of Laura Jones Plummer, a 2011 UA graduate. They are the proud grandparents of Sadie and Kennedy.
